Euros Win ‘Fantastic’ For Girls Football In Market Harborough

The head of youth football at Harborough Town FC say England’s historic Euros win is a fantastic boost for the women’s game.
Maz Hayton started Market Harborough’s first women’s team in 1995 and now overseas seven girls teams at the club.
She has been involved in developing women’s football for many years and as a player represented her home country of Malta.
Harborough’s under-12s squad has doubled in size in the past few months and will have two teams going into the new season.
