Enviro-Crime Team Alerted After Litter Wombles’ Find

Litter Wombles have alerted enviro-crime officers after finding several dumped cardboard boxes with names and addresses on during a litter-pick near Market Harborough.

The empty boxes were found amongst other rubbish by volunteers during a big clean-up along the A6 bypass on Sunday and the group have reported the matter to Harborough District Council.

A fly-tipped sofa was also discovered in a ditch during the litter pick, which resulted in over 70 bags of rubbish being collected.
