Drivers are being warned one of the main routes in and out of Market Harborough will be closed this weekend.
Rockingham Road will be shut between Great Bowden Road and the railway bridge, outside the railway station, from 8am on Saturday until 8pm on Sunday.
The closure is needed so National Grid can undertake new electricity supply works.

A stretch of Rockingham Road will be closed this weekend
A National Grid Electricity Distribution spokesperson said: “We’d like to thank motorists in Market Harborough for their patience as we undertake works on Rockingham Road to install a new electricity supply on 21 and 22 June.
“Due to the need to excavate, a diversionary route will be in place.”
HFM asked National Grid why no advanced warning signs had been placed on the road to warn drivers and the spokesperson said: “We regret that advance warning signs weren’t displayed as expected, and apologise for any inconvenience caused by the road closure.”
The official diversion route will take drivers heading in and out of town via the A6 Market Harborough bypass.
