Driver Taken To Hospital After B6047 Crash

A man was taken to hospital after a crash on the B6047 yesterday afternoon.

Two cars, a Range Rover and Mini, were involved in the collision on Melton Road at Three Gates, near Illston on the Hill just before 4.30pm.

Leicestershire Police say initial reports were that one driver was trapped and fire crews from Market Harborough and Kibworth were sent to the scene, as well as the Air Ambulance.

Officers say it is not believed the driver taken to hospital has injuries which are life-threatening or life-changing.
