Driver Jailed After Ramming Police Car During Pursuit Across North Northants

A driver who rammed a Police car during a high-speed pursuit across North Northamptonshire has been jailed for seven months.
Lee Roy Holland failed to stop for officers in Braybrooke and then travelled along the A6, A427 and back roads, before crashing his Audi A3 at the entrance to a field in Brampton Ash.
Officers arrested him shortly afterwards, with the help of a Police dog, after a foot chase through a snow-covered field.
Holland, 45, formerly of Desborough, was was also banned from driving for 15 months by a judge at Northampton Crown Court, for dangerous driving and having no insurance, following the incident in January.
