Drink Drive Campaign Extended After Over 660 Arrests This Year

Police have launched their summer drink and drug drive campaign.
It is being extended from the usual four to six weeks because of the increasing number of arrests.
Over 660 drivers have been found under the influence of drink or drugs on Leicestershire’s roads so far this year.
More spot-checks of drivers will take place on Harborough’s roads over the next few weeks.
