Domestic Abuse Awareness Campaign Launches on White Ribbon Day

A new campaign urging victims of domestic abuse across Harborough to seek help has been launched.
Police and Harborough District Council have teamed up to launch it on White Ribbon Day.
It is being marked around the world and is the largest global initiative to end male violence against women, by calling on men to take action to make a difference.
Men are also being urged to make a pledge never to commit, excuse, or remain silent about male violence against women.

The local campaign is highlighting work being done locally to support victims of domestic abuse and is being supported by Harborough District Community Safety Partnership.
It coincides with the football World Cup and also urges people to report any suspicions about domestic abuse or violence.
