Disadvantaged Children Across Harborough To Benefit From Charity’s Expansion

More disadvantaged youngsters in and around Market Harborough will benefit from time away thanks to the expansion of a Leicestershire charity.

Leicester Children’s Holidays is to team up with schools and young people’s groups to offer match funding, so children don’t miss out on trips.

The charity will also continue to provide free respite breaks for children who live in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and may face difficult circumstances at home.

The charity has been running since 1898 and has so far taken 60,000 children on holiday.
