Developers Withdraw Plan For New Homes

Developers have withdrawn a plan to build 40 new ‘affordable’ homes on the edge of the Farndon Fields estate in Market Harborough.

The proposal for land off Angell Drive was due to be considered by councillors next week, who had been recommended to turn it down.

Planning officers had a number of concerns and over 50 residents had lodged objections.

The applicant has told the council it intends to submit a new application, which it says will address the matters raised.
