Desborough man appears at Northampton Magistrates Court

A man from Desborough has received both a community order and a
restraining order after pleading guilty to assault.

51 year-old Mark Meagan, of Chestnut Drive in Desborough, admitted
assaulting a man in the town, on the 7th of September last year, causing
him actual bodily harm.

As well as being ordered to pay 200 pounds’ compensation to his victim,
Meagan was told he must undertake “rehabilitation activities”.

During his appearance, at Northampton Magistrates’ Court, he was also
banned from making contact with a “named man or entering a named
street”.
