Curry Awards Honour For Avatar Dining

Avatar Dining in Market Harborough has been crowned Restaurant of the Year at the Leicestershire Curry Awards.
The venue on St Mary’s Road picked up the coveted title after going head-to-head with restaurants across the county.

The award was presented at a ceremony in Leicester last night and there was even more reason to celebrate for Avatar, as its restaurant in Lutterworth won the Best New Restaurant title.
Suresh KC Chhetri, owner of Avatar Dining gave an emotive acceptance speech and said: “It has never been easy in my life. It’s still not but I’m fighting for it.
“With my team and through my strength we grow together. With our team, our customers, our clients, our families, society and everybody else.
“Tonight I want to sincerely thank my beautiful wife and my team, who support me always. I couldn’t do this without you.”
Now in its ninth year, the Leicestershire Curry Awards continue to be a platform for recognising culinary talent, spotlighting unsung heroes of the kitchen, and celebrating the cultural richness woven into every dish served across the city and county.
