Crash Closes Springfield Street

Police say nobody was seriously injured after a crash on Springfield Street in Market Harborough this morning.

Officers, together with the Ambulance Service were called at 8.15am after two cars, a BMW and Chevrolet, collided at the junction with Sainsbury’s.

One person was taken to Kettering General Hospital for treatment.

The road was closed for a time to allow for a large amount of oil that was spilt to be cleaned up, which caused long queues, particularly on Northampton Road.
