Council Tax Set To Rise
Written by HFM News on 17th December 2019
Leicestershire County Council is proposing a 3.99% increase in its portion of Council Tax next year, which will mean about a pound extra a week for the average household across Harborough.
The rise, if approved, will help deal with a surge in demand for children’s social care.
The budget includes £80m worth of savings but also £16m of investment.
Harborough Council has yet to announce its budget proposals.
