Council Extends Environmental Services Contract

Harborough Council has extended its environmental services contract for an extra two years.
It means FCC Environment will continue carrying out bin and waste collections and grounds maintenance across the District until 2025.
The decision’s been taken to give the authority time to consider a new waste strategy, due to be published in 2023 – the year the current contact was due to end.
The cost of the extension has not been revealed.
