Help To Spend Millions In Harborough

How would you like to have a say in how millions of pounds is spent to make lives better locally?
The Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity, which supports projects and individuals in need, needs new trustees.
It’s vital work goes relatively unnoticed, but the charity – now under the chairmanship of Adrian Trotter – is hoping to change:
The charity, which is over 400 years old, holds investments in land, property, housing and equities totalling around £20m – the interest of which is used to provide grants.
Its work includes funding for sports, recreation, education, health, and the arts as well as supporting individuals.
The appointed trustees will sit on the board of the charity and commit around 15 days a year.
The charity also owns and manages the Old Grammar School, and has Almshouses and allotments in the town,
