Cottage Hospital set to be demolished

Plans have been announced to demolish Market Harborough’s former Cottage Hospital and build a three-storey 70-bedroom care home in its place.
A planning application has this week been lodged for the Coventry Road site, following the closure of the hospital last year.
How the new care home will look
The plan will retain the World War One Memorial Portico – at the hospital entrance – in its current location.
