A closing down sale is underway at Market Harborough’s M&Co shop.
The fashion retailer went into administration last week, threatening the future of 170 stores nationwide.
Posters have gone up saying the High Street store is closing down, although administrators are still seeking a buyer for the business.

Administrators Teneo say M&Co had experienced a sharp rise in costs like many other retailers which had coincided with a ‘decline in consumer confidence’.
A statement added: “Despite a very loyal customer base, particularly in local markets, and a well-recognised brand, the current economic outlook has placed increasing pressure on the Company’s cash position.”
M&Co fell into administration in August 2020, but the Market Harborough store was one of those saved when it was bought back by its Scottish owners the McGeoch family in a pre-pack deal.
