Christmas Countdown Begins As Tree Arrives

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Market Harborough after a giant Christmas tree arrived on The Square today.

The 30ft tall tree was grown at Welford Christmas Tree Farm and is sponsored by Market Harborough Building Society.
It is being decorated ahead of the town’s Christmas lights switch-on event this Saturday.
Over 3,000 lights will be on the tree and Gail Bates from Harborough District Council told HFM the community have helped make some of the decorations:
