Children Stage Climate Change Protest

Schoolchildren staged a climate change protest in Market Harborough town centre this afternoon.

Around 50 were involved in the action in front of the Old Grammar School, with the main contingent from the town’s C of E Primary Academy, who took part during their lunch break.

Some students from Welland Park Academy also joined the action, which was the third protest of its kind this year, and was registered as an official ‘climate strike’.
