Charles Conquers Mountain Challenge!

A Market Harborough man has completed a 12-day trek through mountains in Nepal.
Charles Barton climbed 12,000ft to reach the Annapurna Base Camp in the South Asian country on Easter Sunday.
Money he has raised in sponsorship from the big challenge, currently totaling over £700, will be split between the New Futures Nepal Charity, which Charles and his wife set-up to help orphaned and disabled children in Nepal, and Bloodwise – the blood cancer research charity.
Charles was diagnosed with blood cancer a few years ago and is treated with chemotherapy tablets.
