Driver Charged After Crash

A young woman has been charged with drink-driving after a car overturned onto its roof on the outskirts of Market Harborough.

Emergency services were called to the roundabout at the junctions of the A6/A427/A4304/Great Bowden at 2am yesterday.
A woman who was trapped was released from the wreckage by firefighters, escaping with just minor injuries.
Police say Penelope Kay, 22, of Sutton Lane, Dingley, has been charged with driving while over the prescribed limit and will now appear in Court.
