Chamber Reacts To Carpetright Closure

Market Harborough Chamber of Trade has been reacting to the sudden closure of Carpetright in the town.
The store on Rockingham Road is one of over 200 to be shut nationwide after the flooring retailer went into administration, with all staff made redundant.
Carpetright in Market Harborough has closed
Independent carpet fitters who were employed by Carpetright are also impacted.
Chamber President Gareth Thomas told HFM he hopes all those affected can find alternative employment quickly and is confident another retailer will want to take-on the premises:
