Car Child Seats Found Not Fitted Correctly

Child seats in cars stopped during a road safety operation in Market Harborough were not fitted or being used correctly.

Of the 15 vehicles pulled over by Police on Springfield Street yesterday, 9 had child seats fitted which were deemed unsafe.

A specialist was on-hand to check them, make the necessary adjustments and give advice to drivers, to ensure they were made safe.
