Burglars Target Church

Damage caused at the church

Burglars have caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage after smashing part of a stained glass window to get into All Saints Church in Scraptoft.

It happened sometime last night or in the early hours of today.

Harborough Police say it not thought anything was stolen from inside the church although there will be a large bill to replace the window, which was hundreds of years old.

Officers are appealing to anyone with information to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
