Written by HFM News on 24th July 2018
Burglars have stolen car batteries and tyres worth around £2,000 from a scrapyard in Desborough.
They targeted Frank Beale Vehicle Dismantlers off Stoke Albany Road, on the old Desborough Airfield sometime between 2.30pm on Sunday and 8.30am morning – cutting through padlocks on gates to get in.
Around 70 part-worn and new tyres were taken, along with about 50 batteries.
It’s the seventh time the site has been targeted by burglars this year.
Police are appealing for information.
