Building Control Team Merger

Harborough District Council has confirmed its Building Control team has now merged with that of a neighbouring council – in a move to share resources and save money.
They’re now working under the auspices of The Blaby District Council Building Control Partnership – which offers advice to people in relation to planning applications and carries out regular inspection visits to help them comply with building regulations.
After a trial period which began in January last year the permanent arrangement was approved by Harborough Councillors in February.
