Bees Buzzing As New Season Kicks Off Today

Harborough Town’s boss is urging the community to get behind the club as the new Northern Premier League season begins today.

Mitch Austin is targeting a play-off place following last season’s eighth place finish in the Midlands division, which was the club’s first playing in Step 4 of the football pyramid.

The Bees have strengthened the first team squad with some notable signings over the summer, and following a successful pre-season campaign, open the new campaign at newly-promoted Anstey Nomads today.

They play their first home game on Tuesday night against Cambridge City.
