Arts Fresco Needs Support To Return

Organisers of Market Harborough’s Arts Fresco hope the event will return this September, if enough funding can be secured.
It costs around £40,000 to hold the free street arts festival in the town centre, featuring professional entertainers.
Although it’s hoped grant funding towards that, at least two major sponsors are needed and other businesses need to get behind it too.
The unique event – one of only two of its kind in the country – was not held last year as the volunteer committee wanted to take a year off.

Arts Fresco has always attracted between 10,000 and 15,000 people to Market Harborough, since the event returned to the town centre in 2014.
If the money to hold the event this year can be found, it will be held on Sunday, September 8th.
