Arsonists Start Fire In Derelict House In Desborough

Arsonists started a fire in a derelict house in Desborough on Saturday evening.

Fire crews were called to deal with the blaze on the former Lawrence’s Factory site, on Harborough Road, at 7.45pm.

Firefighters were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to the structure of the building, after rubbish was set alight on the ground floor.

Crews from Desborough and Kettering were sent to deal with the incident.
