Arrests After Men Assaulted In Lutterworth Town Centre

A man and teenager have been arrested after two men were assaulted in Lutterworth town centre.
The incident happened in Market Street during the early hours of Sunday and left the victims needing hospital treatment.
Police have described the injuries they suffered as ‘minor’ and have launched an appeal for witnesses after officers were called to the scene just after 12.20am.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and a 21-year-old man on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH).
Both have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A section of Market Street was cordoned off following the incident.
