Appeal Launched In Hfm Region To Help Ukrainian Refugee Babies

An appeal has been launched in the Hfm Region to help Ukrainian refugees who have fled the country following the invasion by Russia.
It is specifically to provide aid for babies, as there is currently a huge shortage of items for them.
The donations will form part of larger aid convoy that will travel to Poland or Hungry.
The local appeal is being spearheaded by Oliver Le Sueur from Great Bowden, who spoke to Hfm’s Nick Shaw:
You can donate items tonight (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) outside Weltons shop in Great Bowden between 7pm and 7.30pm and at Haselbech Church between 8pm and 8.30pm on both days.
Items needed are:
- Nappies
- Wipes
- Blankets
- Toddler pillows and duvets
- Baby milk and baby bottles
- Baby food
- Cardigans and jumpers
- Vests
- Pyjamas
- Hats
- Shoes
- Hairbrushes
- Sponges and washcloths
- Baby medicines
