Appeal for information following fire in Welland Park

An appeal for information has been launched after a deliberately-started fire in Market Harborough’s Welland Park.

A waste cage full of rubbish was dragged into the children’s play area and set alight, after being stolen from outside a shop.

It happened late last Thursday or during the early hours of Friday, with Harborough District Council contractors called in to clean up the mess.
