Appeal After Teenage Driver Dies In Crash Near Desborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage driver died in a crash near Desborough in the early hours of yesterday.

The 19-year-old man was driving a blue Suzuki Swift car which left the B576 Harborough Road and came to rest on a grassed area outside the Travel Plaza Hotel, just after 2.30am.

He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers believe the car was travelling towards Desborough from the direction of the A6 at the time of the incident.

They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dash-cam footage of the collision or the moments leading to it.
