Appeal After Burglars Raid Shops In Lutterworth

Burglars raided two shops in Lutterworth in the early hours of today.
They stole bottles of perfume from Fortnams Chemist on High Street and several pairs of glasses from Scrivens Opticians on Church Street.
It is thought the intruders struck between 3.30am and 4am, after smashing windows in the front doors to get in.
Police were alerted to the break-in at the chemists after reports of noises being heard and despite attending within ten minutes, the burglars had fled.
Officers say enquiries are on-going and are appealing for witnesses.
