Appeal After 90-Year-Old Assaulted

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a 90-year-old woman was assaulted in Cottingham.

It happened last Tuesday (April 16th) between 9.50pm and 10.10pm, when she was approached by a man at the side gate of her house in Wood View Road.

He kept saying the word ‘Millfield’ before pushing the pensioner to the floor, knocking her unconscious for a short period of time.

The offender was wearing black gloves with a white stripe on them.
