Alert Issued After School Pupil Approached

An alert has been issued after a school pupil was approached by a man in the car park of Little Bowden Recreation Ground.
It happened yesterday evening and involved a boy in Year 9 at Welland Park Academy.
The school says the man, who was dressed in black with a face covering, was ‘very determined’ to interact with the young person, who was left upset by the incident, which has been reported to Police.
Students and parents have been told of the incident and students urged to be alert when walking alone.
The alert has also been shared with other schools in the town.
