Air Ambulance Called to Kibworth Harcourt Medical Emergency

An air ambulance was scrambled to a medical emergency in Kibworth Harcourt.
The crew was called at 8.20am on Friday and arrived on scene less than 20 minutes later to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service.

The patient was being treated for anaphylaxis — a severe, rapid and potentially life-threatening allergic reaction — and received advanced critical care interventions before being transferred to hospital by land ambulance.
