A6 Bypass Closures Postponed Due to Weather

Planned closures of the A6 Rothwell and Desborough bypass have been postponed because of bad weather.

The road was due to close for ‘surface dressing’ work following carriageway repairs carried out earlier this year.

However, North Northamptonshire Council says the work has now been rescheduled due to the recent rainfall, meaning the daytime and overnight closures that had been planned over the coming week will now not go ahead.

New dates for the scheme are expected to be announced as soon as possible.
