The Market Harborough group of the charity Different Strokes run a support group for young people who have experienced a stroke, and their family & friends.
Whatever stage of recovery members of the group, their friends or family members are at, they are there to help them in relaxed meetings, where they can open up, ask questions or just listen to others. Meetings are supported by the charity Different Strokes, who aim to promote independent stroke recovery and help younger stroke survivors reclaim their lives.
The support group has set a permanent meeting place and are now in a place where they want to reach out to the community and support as many people as possible, meeting on the second Saturday of every month
The next meeting is on Saturday 8th August from 11am to 1pm at Market Harborough Methodist Church, Northampton Road, Market Harborough LE16 9HE
