Ambulance Move To Police Station Moves Closer

Written by on 9th August 2018

The re-location of Market Harborough’s ambulance crews to the town’s Police station has moved closer.

Plans have been announced to demolish an existing garage and build a new one in the car park of the base on Fairfield Road, as well as to alter the parking layout, to make way for ambulances.

The co-location plan, set to take place later this year, will save East Midlands Ambulance Service cash and also generate money, as the current ambulance station on Leicester Road, plus the grounds, are set to be sold for over £1m.
