‘Lives At Risk’ Warning After Desborough Arson

Fire service bosses have hit out at arsonists who struck in Desborough last night – at the same time the town’s crew was dealing with another deliberately started blaze.

An area of scrubland was set alight at the rear of Meissen Avenue just before 7pm – with the fire spreading to fencing.

Firefighters had to travel from Kettering to deal with it – as the Desborough crew were assisting at a large field fire near Rothwell.
