Driver Runs Off After Crash In Market Harborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man ran off from the scene of a crash in Market Harborough early this morning.
He was driving a small van that collided with a parked car on The Broadway, close to the junction with Hillside Road, leaving both vehicles badly damaged.
Officers were called just after 3am and launched a search for the man – with the assistance of the Police helicopter – although he wasn’t traced.
It’s thought the driver would have sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
