Campaign To Tackle Racing Drivers Gains Momentum

A campaign to deal with speeding drivers between Market Harborough and East Farndon – and in the village itself – in gaining momentum.

More people have joined a recently formed Action Group and now Northamptonshire Police has pledged its support alongside the Leicestershire force – as the road straddles both counties.

Some cars have been racing posing a danger to other road users and pedestrians.

Both Police forces say they will act on the concerns – Northants Police are conducting a period of assessment to see what the speeds are in the village before deciding on the most appropriate form of action.
