Would-Be Thief Caught On CCTV

Tradesmen being warned against thieves after an incident in Market Harborough early this morning.

A man was caught on CCTV opening the side door of a van parked on the driveway of a house in Fairfax Road on the Southern Estate at about 5.30am.

The owner – who has fallen victim to thieves before and leaves now the vehicle empty – has shared the footage in a bid to warn others.

When the would-be thief realises there is nothing in the van he casually walks away.
