New Specialist School in Market Harborough Ready To Welcome Pupils

Building work on a new specialist school in Market Harborough has been completed ahead of its planned opening this autumn.

Aurora Brampton Valley School, based at the former Roman Way Community Centre, will provide education for up to 80 children and young people aged between five and 19.

The school is designed to support autistic pupils with a range of educational needs, providing specialist facilities and learning environments.

There is already strong interest from local authorities looking to place pupils at the school.

More than 60 staff positions are being created, with most of the roles already filled ahead of the school opening.

The completion of the building work marks the final stage of preparations before pupils are welcomed later this year.
