Market Harborough Set for Month-Long Celebration of Creativity

More than 80 creative events taking place in and around Market Harborough this month – with more than half free to attend.

The month-long celebration of creativity includes live music, theatre, comedy, family entertainment, crafts, dance, film, literature and workshops.

There are opportunities to try something new, from pottery making and tango to learning more about the history of Market Harborough.

One of the headline events is a performance by acclaimed Memphis-born singer-songwriter and keyboardist Charlie Wood and his seven-piece band.

They will bring together jazz, blues and R&B at the Octagonal Theatre on September 19th.

For younger audiences, BabyGigs’ KoolGigs Family Concert will take place on September 5th.

The programme also includes the town’s first literary festival, with visitors able to hear from a range of authors.
