NHS To Seek Further Cash From Cottage Hospital Redevelopment

The NHS is asking the firm that has bought the former Cottage Hospital site in Market Harborough to provide over £15,000 towards health services in the town.
Planning permission is being sought to bulldoze the Coventry Road building so a 70-bedroom care home can go up there.
If granted, the NHS is seeking the contribution through the Section 106 Scheme, to support GP practices that would deal with the new residents.
The site was sold for £1.35m
