A former Army Cadet Force base in Market Harborough could be saved from demolition under new plans to convert the building into offices.
Applicant Stylish Living had previously proposed demolishing the building off Coventry Road to make way for five homes, but that application has since been withdrawn.

Revised plans have now been submitted to Harborough District Council, with the new proposal focusing on retaining the existing structure and bringing it back into use as office space.
The authority will now consider the updated application.
No reason was given for the housing plan being dropped, although Anglian Water had objected over concerns about drainage infrastructure and a sewer crossing the site.
