Community Colour Run to Honour Chloe Longster’s Memory

A colourful community fundraiser is being held later this month in memory of Market Harborough teenager Chloe Longster.
The event, Chloe’s Colour Run, will take place in Harrington on June 27th – what would have been Chloe’s 17th birthday.
Chloe was a student at Robert Smyth Academy and tragically died from pneumonia and sepsis in November 2022.
All proceeds from the event will go to the UK Sepsis Trust, to help improve awareness and understanding of the condition.

Participants will be showered with biodegradable coloured powder as they run, walk or jog around a grass course featuring five colour stations and optional obstacles.
Chloe’s family have organised the event and say it is a chance to honour Chloe’s life by bringing people together, with every splash of colour helping to support the fight against sepsis.
Those taking part can wear their own clothing or purchase a special white “Chloe’s Legacy” t-shirt on the day.
As this is the first year of the event, numbers are being limited, with hopes of making it even bigger in future years.
