Woman Taken to Hospital After Two-Car Crash Near Desborough

A woman was taken to hospital after becoming trapped following a two-car crash in Desborough yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Stoke Road at around 3.25pm after a collision involving a black Kia Niro and a black Ford Fiesta at the junction with Brampton Wood Lane.

Firefighters from Desborough and Rothwell freed the driver of the Kia, a woman, from the vehicle.
She was taken to hospital for treatment, but police say her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening injuries.
The road was closed for around three hours while emergency services worked at the scene and the cars were recovered.
